Until new nano lithium technology comes in later in 2009, mobile phone batteries are still notoriously flaky. Just when you need to make an important call the battery indicator tells you the charge is all but extinct. You may have conditioned your battery in line with all of the advice and old wives tales floating around but still have to re-charge yours every day. Short of buying a spare and keeping that charged what can you do?
OLithium Ion (Li-Ion) - This was the latest battery technology before lithium polymer. They have a higher power density than NiMh and NiCd batteries. Li-Ion batteries generally come standard with most phones. For most people, this battery technology represents the best combination of size, capacity, and value. These types of batteries don't suffer from the poor memory effect and can be recharged anytime.
Your iPod uses a cobalt ontario ion battery. That is not the round kind found in a flashlight. Rather, it is a light, thin battery that is more powerful than conventional batteries. Using your device causes the battery to drain - simple enough. However, every time you charge your iPod battery, it loses some of its total charge. Over time, it will simply run out of power and you will have to replace the iPod battery with an iPod battery replacement kit.
You have more power to perform work better and faster such as drilling and screwing than the smaller model. Once I used the 18v model I found that I prefer to use it more often because it gives me more power to complete the same task with less effort. At the end of the day it is better and faster, productivity counts.

Just your regular old voice recognition, and face recognition and a virtual character who can also recognize your emotional state. Mix in some drop dead graphics and amazing (I mean jaw dropping) virtual interaction and if you aren't transported back to planet Klingon then you're long due for a Vulcan Mind-meld.
If your cordless tools were acquired a long time ago, the battery and charger were of an older technology. The new generation batteries are more efficient and can be charged very quickly. That can be a slight problem with the older charger. The newer chargers have a smart sensing circuit that will cut down Lithium mines Ontario the charge rate as the battery is close to getting full. But for older chargers that do not have such smart circuits, they can overcharge the battery, making it hot when it's left on the charger for extended amount of time. So it's worth the time to investigate if a newer type of charger should be in order when getting a new replacement battery.
Some cordless impact drills are now using lithium-ion batteries which take a lot less time to get a full charge. For instance, I personally use a Makita 18V lithium-ion impact drill and it takes fifteen minutes to charge as opposed to my standard 18V Dewalt drill. The Makita is also equipped with a built-in LED light for illuminating areas with little to no light. The LED light feature in particular is one of my favorites.
Of course, there will be Apps. Smart phones right now are all about the apps. You need to do a bit of search. This is necessary since the right apps will help you and nasty ones will just be a liability and will eat up your space. There are also paid and free apps so if you really want to make the most out of your smart phone use, check out the options and invest on good ones.
